About SalSal's Pharmacy is owned by the Nassar family, with Sal heading the operation. A seasoned pharmacist, the Solano neighborhood has been Sal's professional home for over 30 years.
Having worked alongside his cousin Sam of Thousand Oaks Pharmacy, Sal has also worked on Solano at Pharmaca, in addition to having owned small family-owned pharmacies in other parts of the Bay Area.
Many years after the Thousand Oaks days, Sal is pleased to re-introduce himself to this beloved neighborhood, and even more pleased to share his knowledge and skill with anyone who stops by. 'Sal's Pharmacy' is truly one of a kind, and you only have to meet Sal to understand why.

We're a Pharmacy and a Natural Health store. But we're also a small family business whose primary interest is in community, medicine, and health. In addition to providing Rx services, we sell wellness items of all kinds. We also take care to source products from local suppliers wherever possible. Of course, we carry the usual - medicines, homeopathy, toilet paper, and vitamins A thru Z. But we also carry more unconventional things, like tea pots, bulk herbs and powders, and a very special line of skin care made right here in the East Bay.
